Fund the Films
The Video Club of Laguna Woods is raising funds to cover the production costs incurred in the making of their short films, and to recruit and train cast and crew members for a new program, in which they will film one same short scene in three different genres, such as a comedy, a romantic drama, and a horror tale. It sounds fun!
Please support this enthusiastic group by making a donation today!

2025 Unity Festival Tues Sept 30, 2025 4-7:30pm
For the very first time, three of the Laguna Woods governance boards (United, Third, and GRF) have put together a Unity Festival. It will be a vibrant evening of live music, global cuisine, cultural performances and community spirit!
The event is free but you will want to buy a Flavor Tour Food Passport Ticket so you can sample international cuisine from four ethnic food trucks: Mexican, Greek-Mediterranean, California-Asian Fusion, and German-Turkish-Mediterranean – plus Handel’s ice cream! Tickets are $20 and are on sale now at Clubhouse 2.
For more information about the event click here.
This event is a fundraiser. All proceeds from the event will be shared equally by the three governance boards to help reduce costs.

The Aquadettes
I sure hope you didn’t miss The Aquadettes 60th anniversary show, The Aqua Follies, A Night of Oscar Music! The three-night event was held in August, 2025, and was a joy to behold!
The highly acclaimed synchronized swimmers have already started working on their 2026 event. Because they put on a newly themed show every year, they have high production costs for costumes and props for their new routines. They also raise funds for much needed upgrades to their audio-visual equipment and set decorations. It’s never too early to make a donation!
